Adeka Ultra Seal waterstops were developed in the early 1970's by an innovative Japanese company, Asahi Denka Kogyo. They had the idea to combine the elastic properties of rubber with the water swelling properties of a urethane polymer. Through creative thinking and creative manufacturing, Adeka Ultra Seal Waterstops were born.
Since 1976, the R/D people of Asahi Denka Kogyo (ADK) have improved and developed new products to stop water with the dual action of rubber compression and hydrophilic expansion. They opened up a whole new generation of waterstops. The next step in construction ease and positive results.
Since the 1970's many new hydrophilic waterstops have appeared in the market. Some function in an acceptable manner and others do not fare as well.
Adeka Ultra Seals are unique and
stand "head and shoulders" above the crowd. We hope you take the time to review
